Lease is up in September advice on buying my e90

It will probably only have 20k miles on it. I have winters and summer wheels, I want to give the F30 a year to work out the bugs. Can I extend the lease, or just buy the car? Do I work out with dealer or just pay off the the car before my lease is up? Thanks.

Just to add this was my first lease. I have owned 3 BMW's, but I leased trying to get the timing down for the F30 and a Europen Delivery, but I got injured and can not drive a manual, so want more time to drive the f30 manual and do ED.
