It doesn't say program expires 3/2 - looks like expires 3/31/09. Am I missing something here??

Yep - I was assured today by my dealer that the 0.9% is locked in plus I get $750 off the first two payments. Nice. BMW is trying to sell some cars. Wonder when Audi is going to do something similar.

stupid question...

if contract is signed in the last week of march, does that mean the first payment is due end of june?

march 31-->april 30 = bmw pays
april 30-->may 31 = bmw pays
may 31-->june 30 = I pay

That's my understanding. Unless your payments are >$750/month - in which case you'd just pay the difference for the first 2 months, starting in April.

If I remember correctly your first payment is actually 45 days after the start date of the loan. Then it goes monthly after that.

Does anyone know how this relates to ordered cars? I thought as long as you were approved for financing I could get the 0.9% now even if the car ends up arriving after 3/31/09, I would just miss out on BMW paying for the first two payments.

However, the local dealership says both the financing and 2 free payments is for IN STOCK vehicles only...

I just ordered a 335i sedan and was assured that I was locked in at 2.9%, but if the rate goes down I qualify for the new rate. If the rate goes up (unlikely at this point), I still get the 2.9%.

Look at my post above! The language does NOT specify that financing and $750 off first two payments apply to IN STOCK cars only. My dealer provided to me, in writing, that my ordered 328xi (due at the dealership in 2 weeks) is locked in at 0.9% and he called the district rep for BMW who confirmed that the money off the initial payments absolutely applies to my car. Again, mine was ordered and is in transit as we speak, not an in stock vehicle. Call BMW of North America Customer Relations at 800-831-1117 and get verification. Stop speculating and get the facts!!
