Negotiations
I'm seriously considering getting into a 335i by next next Wednesday. I live in AZ and have minimal BMW dealerships in my area. If anyone knows of a great sales advisor, in any state; I don't mind buying out of state, that can help me with my quest for a E90 335i, then please pass along my info. I have narrowed the cars down to 3 choices, here they are:
http://www.azbmw.com/bmwdetail.asp?StockNumber=90285 http://www.chapmanbmw.com/bmwdetail....kNumber=390179 http://www.chapmanbmw.com/bmwdetail....kNumber=390150 I wouldn't mind getting into anyone of these cars, but more importantly, what deals will I be getting. What are some tips, thought, and ideas that you guys could give me? I've been reading on the forums that I would have to negotiate the MF (money factor) what would be a good rate on these cars? I would be leasing the car with about 3-4k down. I'm waiting for a reply from both the dealerships because I offered invoice +$750 and invoice on the options. I would think that the car payments would be around $650, give or take a few? What do you think I can negotiate on, and how would you negotiate if you were looking at these cars? Thank you all for your help, its much appreciated!

Just a quick update... I got an email back from one of the dealerships. Here is the deal as it stands now. on the (stock #90285) http://www.azbmw.com/bmwdetail.asp?StockNumber=90285 They would give the car to me for 36m/12k lease with 4k down and your monthly is $590.00 + Tax which is $639.00 a month. With the BMW Select Program at 2.9% financing with 4k down your payment is $604.00 a month and your 3rd payment is not due until July. What do you guys think? If I lease it I would try for $600 Out the door... and if i finance it, I would try for $580-$590.

If you are selecting from dealer's inventory, the numbers should be invoice - (minus) something and not + (plus) ... like invoice -1k or -2k for example
My SA offered any vehicle on the floor for invoice before I even started to negotiate.... Most dealerships in tri-state NYC would agree to $500 over invoice if they have to custom order the car for you (i.e. actually do some work...) Hope this helps. |
