A good deal or not?
Is this a good deal? If not what do you think is a reasonable price...
2008 328i Space Gray 6MT Black Dakota leather Dual power seats Heated seats iPod adapter Sport package List 41,4200 "Bottom line" 37,500 I'm new to the BMW market, but have been wanting one for a while. Space Gray is not my favorite color, but it's hard to find a new 08. Any thoughts or suggestions would be very appreciated because I know this forum has a lot of well-informed members |

That's kind of tough man. I'm sure you could get it lower, but since you mentioned "hard to find a new '08", its going to be difficult to find another dealer with brand new 08 models. If the dealer people can sense your going to move heaven and earth to just get this vehicle, that's the cheapest your going to get it.
I know its bullshit to hear this from me since it seems like you did try to look for other dealers, but try to find another 08 model car on another dealer. |

Thanks for the input
Went back to the dealership, got him down to 36k. I checked edmunds.com previously, but I could only find prices for 2009 models or used 2008s. I thought the 08 price would be lower if the car had previously been titled as opposed to a new untitled car—and the 09's prices don't take into account this unsold 08 scenario. At least it gave me a point to negotiate.... |
