so got my car serviced at a local indy.....

and they were brilliant even got a free courtesy car. They gave my wife a sheet listing module updates available car and there are loads. To do them all they want £100. Are they worth having and does this price sound ok?
The company I used is called sportstech if anyone is interested, I couldn't fault them.

There are loads, just tried typing them all out and for some reason the screen reset itself so I am too angry to do it right now!
There is one that says it will take 230 mins to program! its called APPLICATIONS (CCC-A/CICR-HD)
Like I said there are 15 in total.

That one is your idrive and nav. 230mins?! Wow, I thought it was quicker than that. Mind you, the radio on our 1 series needed swapping and the dealer did some coding for some reason. Took them 5 hours apparently!

This is why people coding at home should stay away from software updates!

wow thats a very long time to do. £100 seems a good price especially if one of the updates takes the time you have specified as at BMW you probably pay a lot more

I too would imagine BMW would want alot more to do the updates. Just thought I would run it past you lot make sure nobody is trying to have me pants down.
