I had no problems either day. My car was running like a champ the entire time. I didn't bring any race gas with me so I was running half 91oct and half 100oct leaded airplane gas lol. I think some of the 6AT were still having shifting problems on the second day.

I did put in a few races against cars that ran the single turbos while i was racing somebody else, which allows me to assume the outcome of what it would have looked like. From what it seems, it would be a very close race. Both setups still need to figure out certain problems. Misfires, slipping trans, torque converters, and traction seem to be main issues at this point(just like with any other high powered, rwd cars). I'm sure by next event we will have 2 strong running twin and single cars to be lined up. RBs still have a lot of room for improvement without touching internals, so personally, i'm looking forward to e85 tune, and the 4-5 problem to be worked out.

I was extremely pleased with my cars performance other than the trans issues in 4-5. Videos will be coming soon.

Just a little teaser for you:
Hey, it was good meeting you. I was looking forward to our planned run, but I didn't see you after you left to do your other races. Hopefully there is another one fairly soon.

The only ones having issues were the 6AT guys in 5th gear. Most of my runs were great, I was gaining a little each time, but 5th gear was giving us random results. I believe Terry was seeing a similar issue, actually, so it's not single related - it's high horsepower/high speed related.

Unfortunately this is not something you can really reproduce outside of an event like this, as it requires very high speeds. However, we got some really useful logs, and it should just be a matter of writing some new code.

All in all, it was a fun event, and I enjoyed being able to push it like that.

Hey buddy, great meeting you! Yea after i came back from the lambo race, i was looking for you, and another single that wanted to run, but couldn't find either of you. Hung around your camp for a while talking with wedge and the other single AT, but he didn't want to run cuz he had misfires and had to shift at 6k in every gear... We'll definitely get together at the next event(they said feb or march).

Saw your video of the lambo race, that was awesome. It's funny because I was just at their shop getting my rear wheels switched out. I think they were doing some final adjustments before they came down.

I may have either been doing a run or some testing with Shiv, but I also started packing up around 1:45 to head out.

I see. Myself, Erik(E63), Adam(SC white M3), and Steven(Black fbo m5) were basically the last 4 to leave the event. Stayed until the very end, and i got to play with a 690hp Ford GT... Will not be posting a video of that lol

Guys I spoke to the majority of you at the event about premiering your videos here on Bimmerpost first. I totally understand that all of you want to post them now and show what your cars can do, I would as well. However, Bimmerpost helped us with both airstrip events, without these sponsors like Bimmerpost it would be very difficult for us to make this event happen, it is not easy by any means. Please if you haven't already get me your vids, with a mod list so we can showcase them here on bimmerpost and reward them for helping us make this happen.

The BMW's represented VERY WELL, I heard this time and time again on both days, very proud of you guys, all of you were extremely friendly and cordial, it was a good weekend for us, great meeting you guys, as well as seeing many familiar faces. PM me with info, or let me know if you already gave us your vids. THANK YOU for all your support and for attending the event.

Nice video! I assume with a passenger weighing you down as well? It sounds like the RB cars ran very well at the event.

Hey Mike, thanks. There will be more to come... The lambo also had a passenger, so it was a fair race, but he did get a tiny jump on me, as did most cars. This is my first event, i was gunning it right after we hit the cones, when most people would gun in a few feet before the cones. But i reeled almost everybody in...

lol @ Terry.

I spun badly and hit fuel cutoff at 50mph in second and car just stopped all momentum...then I had to shift into third at that point and watched Terry pull like 8 cars. Same thing happened against xtyper (E63) and Sick335 (RB). They all put 8 cars on me because I was spinning badly. These were my first 3 runs of the first day. Figured it out and was able to rematch everyone except Terry and the races ended as expected. Then on Day 2 it got nutz as I ran some crazy cars. Thought I would get beat badly but...uh...you'll see soon

well if you put it this way...

I had 2 nail biters with M5 and GTR. I was pulling half a car all the way thru the pull, right up until i had to let off before the cone, and they got me by a nose/car at the cone... That was disappointing...
