320si first day on track
OK got the car corner weighted and i was well off what i thought. 1262kg which is a bit disappointing, any way done first trackday and the car was amazing,the handling really is very good and didnt have any problems all day. ill post some clips soon.
one thing i didnt like was lack of power so i think im going to put an s14b20 in and bin the n45 its just such a week engine with lots of problem if anyone has any other ideas on engines to use please let me know but i dont want to use an iron block and cant be more than 2500 cc Last edited by bmw vln; 05-12-2013 at 10:52 AM.. |

hey thats one sweet car - good work. I have a 320Si (black like your original) good fun on the road, and probably on the track, though I havent been brave enough to take it on one yet, (despite being an experienced racer for a number of years) as its my only road car and cant afford to bend it!
I understand what you say about the engine. On the road its ok though you have to keep the revs high to get into the zone. lots of grip and great handling. Imagine it would appear to be a bit breathless round the ring against machines with easily more grunt. go for it and enjoy. |
