You know what guys, i feel bad posting this video.

It totally doesnt do the exhaust justice. I just went for a drive now and im still in love with how sexy the sound is between 3k-5k rpms. Of course if im just cruising under 3k, theres not much sound which is exactly what i wanted.

There goes my gas mileage.

I guess not... But hey, Im getting my Bastuck put on tomorrow And will give eveyone some vids shortly and my impressions. I, just like you, HATE drone and will give a fair opinion of its drone (hopefully lack there of) and volume. I cant wait for some miles to get on it from what Ive read, it seems to really make a difference. And if necessary, I will delete the secondary cats as well to get more bite out of it, but I will hold off on that until it seems to be broken in. This is my 3rd exhaust and Im getting frustrated or discouraged, they are either too loud, drone too much, or are too quiet... Hopefully, this exhaust will do the trick.

Fraggy, from what I'm hearing it might be related to having a step, the drone...

Yea, I agree with that to some degree, about the step. But the best Bastuck vids were made using a step so I will remain mildly hopeful that this my solution. Wish me luck

Too much drone for me. The volume is awesome, but when its warmed up, its more than I can handle. I cant floor it all the time, and when just driving around the neighborhood in 2nd and 3rd gear at lower than 2500 rpm, its hard to swallow. I always drive in M mode, but it still get old after a while. When its cool, it sounds great

ah I see. I have manual, and there's still some drone, but maybe somehow I'm slightly more immune to it...?

Ok, just got it put on, drove like 30 miles, NO drone, even with the step tranny. Im pretty sure Im gonna have to pull the cats, but I will let it break in some before deciding that. I will have vids and a better review soon, but for now, I feel peaceful in my car again

I think that everyones tolerance for drone is different. My wife doesnt even think the drone is a problem, to her it makes the car sound strong, but it drives me nuts! Go figure.

Small teaser, will post driving vids next week when i rent a friend to help out.

Its tame compared to a lot of other exhausts on the market but thats what i wanted. Something with a low tone that didnt drone or caused too much attention.

This is perfect for me.
are the mid-pipes straight through or with a muffler?
