personally, I dont think I would trust ebay headers. but thats just my opinion. I would save my money for something a little more reputable.

you can buy OBX from other vendors besides ebay. Ebay products are fine, as long as you do your research first, and buy from a reputable seller.

Will these headers set any codes off?

Looks interesting - I thought I read somewhere that installing headers is very difficult for our cars due to spacing constraints....?

bulk production brings better prices... I would buy it
My friend has bought headers from ebay for 50 USD (e46 328i) and he gained about 22 hp on wheels (30 HP) only with headers and intake. |

correct, it just modifies the signal from the ecu, it does not replace it. That's it works on all 3 models (325i, 328i, 330i)

It's a 6 hour job according to the BMW book shop rate...not that anyone will take it there for this mod anyway :-)

I heard that loses torque tho... I think the restriction from our OEM mufflers is what gives us that lower end torque. Our cars are quite optimised already. I think the BMW Performance just gives a little bit more sound for those who wanted it.

Haha...that's what I said when I talked to a buddy of mine at T&C.
But, as we all know...that's where stealerships make their money. DimSum, any news on the Raceland headers or something similar. Quote:

I was talking about the bms powerbox if you stayed stock. you had asked two questions, seemed like the second was if you stayed with the stock set up. my bad. if you did both together... I dont know.

Cool! Once my warranty runs out I do plan on getting a bit more "hardcore" tuning like headers, flywheel, pulley (if I get one to fit), LSD etc.
In the meantime, I guess we'll all have to wait. Now I'm undecided about whether to get the BMW performance exhaust, Magnaflow catback exhaust or just do a res delete with custom quads :-) [QUOTE=DimSum; Raceland headers in 3 months...
