Dealer called and said the SDARS module has failed on a 2010 335d w/ i-Drive.

I believe these are separate modules in the earlier cars and am under the impression it is a part of the CIC with the later cars.

Can someone tell me for sure, and possibly even provide a part number?

Integrated Sat Radio tuner started in MY2010.

What your dealer told you was that you need a replacement CIC. Although an external tuner will work via coding, its prewiring was eliminated due to the built-in tuner.
