FOR SALE: The ultimate 335i M-Sport Touring
Okay – big words indeed, but by ultimate I’m not talking ultimate power, or ultimate grip, or ultimate desirability, but the best blend of all worlds without obvious sacrifices. Having owned many cars, from highly modified Japanese exotica to Audi RS6 and BMW M5, this car is my pick of the bunch – able to pass fairly anonymously through cities, cruise comfortably, economically and effortlessly across entire countries with bikes or snowboards, and then give you the drive of your life through the mountains when you get there. This car really does do it all, and well!
Low mileage, amazing spec (including Quaife LSD / AP brakes) and the perfect do-it-all car! These cars rarely come on sale on the secondary market and certainly I doubt none will have the spec or condition of this particular vehicle. Do a national search on BMW.co.uk and you will see a total of 3 of these available, one with lower miles at £30k and two with the same mileage / age for £24k. This car has over £5k of added extras, so I believe the price is accurate and fair, although I am very flexible both on P/X and offers! The mileage is a genuine 27,500 and the car comes with FBMWSH, all original keys, documents and paperwork plus 1 year MOT and 1 year official warranty. It is immaculate, and looks basically exactly as it did when I drove it off the forecourt 2 years ago. Not even any parking dents in the doors! • 2006 (56) BMW 335i M-Sport Touring • Le Mans Blue w/ brushed aluminium interior trim • Full Lemon Dakota leather interior including door trims • Full M-Sport package including sports suspension • Sports automatic gearbox with paddle shift • Professional sat nav • Heated sports seats with semi-electric adjustment • Xenon lights • Bluetooth preparation • Voice control/activation • Dynamic cruise control • BMW assist • Front/rear park distance control • Multi Function Steering Wheel • Auto Air Conditioning • Rain Sensor with Auto Light Activation • 18” BMW wheels w/ Goodyear Eagle F1 asymmetric non-runflat tyres • BWM blackline rear lights • Debadged The car also has two very important modifications from standard spec, professionally fitted with receipts by http://www.birdsauto.com/ that totally transform the vehicles performance: • AP Racing 6-piston 356mm brake kit with braided steel brake hoses (brand new fluid/pads all round) • Quaife geared LSD (limited-slip differential) The Quaife LSD improves all aspects of the cars performance, with no downsides. For reasons best known to themselves (although many theorise it was to purposefully hamstring the 335i so as to keep a discernible difference between it and the M3 flagship) BMW felt it unnecessary to fit a limited-slip differential to a 300bhp twin-turbo rwd car, and consequently many owners complain about the constant and frustrating intervention of the electronic traction control system as the inside wheel tries to spin up under acceleration. For those unfamiliar with what this amazing piece of hardware does, go here: http://bit.ly/8WRFcb The car will be supplied with the original brakes, and neither has nor has had nor needs any other modifications. I would consider P/X up to £10k of the value – I need to clear at least £15k cash. Esp. interested in: Clio Cup, X-type estate, Golf GTi DSG, Megane 225, Integra DC5, fast/interesting estate cars – but will consider almost anything! £23,750 ovno Car is in London but I travel regularly to go biking. Thanks for looking! Ed Last edited by Edcase; 12-03-2009 at 08:44 PM.. |

Would have been well up for it, but just too busy for pretty much anything at the moment, struggling to even find time to come online!!!
Had a reasonable offer today for the car, which I'm giving serious consideration to and haggling on a few things, have dropped the price slightly to see if anyone else comes out of the woodwork, otherwise this is unlikely to be available past the first part of next week. cheers ed |

No its not my advert. I have only just registered on the forum and the moderator wont let me post my own thread until I have made3 posts elsewhere. Seeing as this post refers to my car, i thought it was a good a place as any to add my first post. When the moderator allows me to post my own thread, i will post a propoer advert. Until then, the Pistonheads advert link for the car is below:
