Got an estimate from a shop need advice.

Thanks for taking the time to read this thread. I am going to get my wheels and tires mounted soon at the same time I want to install lowering perches and get an alignment. The shop I was looking at quoted me $160 to mount and roadforce balance the wheels and tires. They quoted me $375 to install the front lowering perches and the alignment. That seems a little pricey but I don\'t really know how much it should cost.

here are my independent shop estimates...

I've seen Mount and Road Force Balance priced ~$20 per wheel

Not sure what Front Lowering Perch installation runs, but I'll guess $150 - $200 based on what a 4 corner spring swap will cost and subtracting less than half for the rears.

Alignment is $75 to $100.

YMMV. It also depends on where your at and if there are other shops around that you can cross shop. The market will dictate the price, so it could be higher if there aren't many choices in the area.

They said $90 for alignment so that means $285 to install the lowering perches I was expecting 100-150 I will see what another shop tells me.
