How does the engine feel now? Smoother revs, slightly more powerful, smoother at idle?

Give them a call and ask for Boris, tell him you are calling about the walnut blasting group buy from e90post.

definitely smoother idle and acceleration. I don't feel that there was a noticeable power increase but I imagine there is some regained HP. I did notice my oil temperature dropped by one notch on the gauge.

WB: Today, I am spending the morning in the waiting room at Solo. They began the Walnut Blasting work at ~8:30am today and should be done within the hour. 93k miles and never been done.
I am having Solo install an upgraded charge pipe while the engine is already broken down. (will save on labor cost of doing it separately). I will share pictures later tonight.

PS> FYI: Solo is installing a Dyno bay at their facility for custom tuning... Something for you Radical-Mod folks to note.

Got mine done on Friday.

1. 2010 135i
2. N54
3. 52,000
4. First time, not horrible, but bad enough to get the service done.
5. Boris took a pic, but did not send it to me yet, I'll see if I can get it from him.

For all of you that got it done, is your car louder? My exhaust now has a deeper growl.

Just got mine done today.

1. 2007 335i
2. N54
3. 86000
4. first time, in my defense I bought the car at 75k miles, and I guess the previous owner never did it
5. still waiting for Boris to send me pics

Also, he told me apparently I have the new record for the worst carbon build up he's ever seen. Eagerly awaiting pics to see just how bad it was lol. The weird thing is, I had absolutely no problems just driving around town, would only get misfire/limp mode at WOT, and spark plugs/coils kinda fixed that (as in it wouldn't happen every time at WOT anymore).

here's the pics

My car is a 2010 335i N54.
I have my appointment scheduled for next Friday, August 22nd. This is gonna be the second valve sleaning. First one was done at 35k miles and probably should've been done earlier, so now at 55k miles I am getting it done again.

These are the pictures from my first valve cleaning. I'll post the new ones when it is done next Friday.

After

Ok I'm back in. Sending deposit now. Do we have enough for the $300 pricing now?

Edit, sent! In interested to see if I come close to the worst they've seen. 91k 07, never been blasted, jb4 since about 70k, FBO since 80k.

1. Model Year :2008

3. Miles: 63K
4. Walnut Blasting performed 1st time?: YES as far as I know(bought with 51K)
5: Immediately noticeable difference:
Throttle response and Idle is MUCH smoother. Acceleration is quicker as well or so it seems.
I also replaced run flats with Michelin Pilot Sport AS3's all the way around and the ride is greatly improved!!!
