Axiss Front pads In 335i

Installed it today by my mechanic and drove around for 10 miles or so...The brakes seemed like Oem...Stopping distance was not compromised and brake pedal felt the same...The only difference is the LACK of BRAKE DUST!!!!!
If i would have driven 10 miles with the OEM pads, the rims would have been all dusted up and surrounding the inner rim...I have 5 star spokes with big openings and i have to clean the inside...What a difference...I used my finger and ran through the rim and to my surprise it was just a taint black on my finger!!!! Can't wait till the rears come in, vendor has it in stock in 2 weeks..
My pain and suffering hand can have a brake because i don't have to clean the rims everyday...(Rim cleaning disease of some sort!!!!)

I guess the only down side is you have to pay for pads vs. free ones from the dealer.

I rather pay the extra 175 or so for the brake pads due to the lack of brake dust that these pads produce...I mean having a BMW most of us like it to look extremely clean...And I for one hate cleaning the wheels everyday...So with that said paying the money as suppose to BMW replacing them for free is no problem because having a clean car is more important to me than a free set of brakes from them!!! I know i am not the only one obsessed with a clean ride...

Old thread bump. I'm putting the Axxis Deluxe on tomorrow (front), the Centri posi-quiets on the rear, and replacing the wear sensors. Can't wait to see an improvement in brake dust levels, especially with CSL wheels.

Bought the pads and brake sensors here. They had very fast shipment:

Sorry, didn't take pics, but they are the same size as the BMW pads, just a different compound that would be hard to dicern from pictures.

I just took a test drive and so far so good. When it clears up outside I will clean the wheels and hopefully notice a big reduction in brake dust.

Yup we've been using the Axxis pads on our cars for a long time - really generate less dust.

Here is a picture example, its on an E46. Maybe you guys want to do one on an e9X. Not even a fair one as 85% of braking is done on the front but gives you an idea.

:-) I have been using those pads for about 25 years. Good stuff!

Certainly not the most aggressive pad for track type work, but for low dust OEM results they are nice. (The OEM BMW pads are fairly agressive - Which for some people is a good thing).

Very happy so far with Axxis Deluxe on the front and Centi Posi Quiet on the rear. By now my wheels would be black and they still look clean. Nice, for the pain to clean CSL style wheels! The pads feel about 90% of stock and since I don't track the car, work perfect for me. Highly recommended.
