Beltronics STI Radar Detector

Anybody have this. I just recieved mine today i was wondering if anyone has this radar/laser detector

is there a particular reason you got the sti?

it was reccommended to me by many people. They said that they have used the V1 and X50 and this radar had the best results.

I prefer the X50 personally. I find that V1 is too sensitive and has too many false issues. I don't have any particular experience with BELs. I also find the Passport's interface to be more intuitive.

my dad has the STI it works well on the highway. lot of false alarms on city streets though (even in city mode).
