Switching oil's at oil change.

Basicly looking for a short and sweet answer, I have been running Mobil 1 0w40 for about a year a half now, im due for another oil change and am just going to drop it off at the dealer for the oil and an inspection before my cpo is up. Question being with them swapping out my 0w40 for there castrol 5w30 are there any ill effects? Thanks...

No worries! After warranty is up, use what you want. I believe there is some advantage to staying consistent over time. So if you like the M1 0w40, keep using it. it is good oil and one of the 3 that meet LL01 and are readily available.

Nothing wrong the BMW 5w30 though....
