Topspeed M2 Exhaust installed... video included

Ok so after 4 hrs in the garage today using only hand tools and jack and jack stands, I pulled the stock exhaust off and on went the M2 exhaust...

Just a quick run down.. I have raceland downpipes, DCI, charge pipe, with HKS BOV and proceede...

Anyway the process was fairly easy,.. takes a little adjusting here and there, but all in all great product and clean and easy install.. btw that stock exhaust is one heavy beast! oh well its gone now

Anyway here is a few pics of it installed then the video of first start up with a few revs to 3500-4K and then last 5 seconds is at idle at 600 rpm.. ill add another one once it burns in, in a week or so, as well as some interior cab vids, with sound... but so far so good

New... ohhh pretty and shinny!

Old Bleh time to go bye bye!!

MMMM i like it!!

Pretty good IMO!

The video was recorded using my iphone FYI...

Thanks let me know what you guys think

Nice. I have the M2 exhaust, thinking about getting Racelands in a few weeks here, but I'm worried about getting a shitty batch. I may just bite the bullet and get the BMS or VSRF pipes.

Yeah I really like the racelands... Maybe not the best but for the price you can't beat it! And yeah I hear your concern but I think they are not having those problems anymore that I am aware of but I could be wrong ??

Also what are your impressions of the M2 thus far??

Thanks

I've had it over a year; sounds great, still shines well and fitment is spot on. However, I don't drive the car in the winter, so I can't comment on how well it holds up in snowy/salty conditions. Would I buy it again? Yes.

That's whats up, my M2 exhaust just came in yesterday. I was still hesitant in buying it, due to the price, but from the video it doesn't sound that bad. I have the VRSF dp and I'm quite sure that bi*** is going to be hella loud!!

Awesome good to know... Yeah I agree figment was perfect no issues... And it's funny I haven't drove yet because I also just installed new brake pads and new slotted rotors and I need to bed the pads in! And was busy yesterday, but I think I'll go do that this morning. Oh and yeah well I'm in so-cal so no need for me to worry about crappy weather like snow and salt just the occasional rain lol but glad to hear after a year you like it!

Yeah I think your gonna like it!! I was a little curious as to quality base on price but ill tell you I have been in the car modding game since 96 and I've had expensive hks ti exhaust on my old car and quality is jut as good! Btw when you install a few things to take note on.

First this can easily be done w some jack stands or ramps... Prob ramp the front then jack the back.. Loosen the down pipes from exhaust rest that end on a bucket while you take the muffler hangers off... The exhaust weights a lot and you don't want to drop it on your face! Secondly when your installing the new one make sure the smaller of the two pair of gaskets goes on the down pipe the lager pair goes on the ends that connect the muffler to the mid pipe. The last gasket is obvious where it goes..

Oh and do not tighten any bolts completely till its all on... Check for alignment then adjust mufflers and use the bracket that goes between them to align and position them then tighten everything up. Pm me If you would like a list of tools needed. Or any other tip or info for that matter.

Good luck and enjoy! I know I will!!

I've had Racelands, AA, VRSF, and BMS. Get the BMS. Best fit was BMS and AA, but BMS were half the price! Racelands will work, but don't fit as well and has more rasp than the others (prob due to harmonics due to bends).

I thought the m2 sounded too fart can Honda civic.
I had it for about 9 months.
Downpipes helped a little bit in the sound department but it still wasn't a great sound.
I am much more happy with a "half muffler delete" (valved side but with the valve still in). It sounds more sophisticated
I'm sorry but fart can is the only way to describe the m2
Can't beat the price though, build quality was good, and it's def weight savings though
