For curves Route 35, Route 84, Crystal Springs in San Mateo, Calvaras Road and for Straight away Highway 92 or the San Mateo Bridge.

La Honda has some nice roads (try to avoid weekend afternoons though). Calaveras is solid, although it winds down to one lane so watch out. Redwood Rd near San Leandro is pretty nice too. There are lots of good options just head toward the hills

La Honda is great! Lot of cops with hiding places though... But still worth it

If you go out early, before the mass of cyclists and Big Basin tourists come out, Hwy 9 from Saratoga to Boulder Creek is a blast both ways and pretty devoid of traffic. You can also take Skyline (HWY 35) from the junction with similar results (pretty good on weekday evenings too). For straight line there is everything the guys above have mentioned, but if you head down through San Jose get off at Bernal and go down Monterey HWY. Between Metcalf and the beginnings of Morgan Hill there are some great stretches both ways (detector recommended, but if you go during down hours you should be okay).

Route I take, from San Francisco South on Highway 280, exit 84, back on 35 North. Does not wear out your brakes as much on 35 since you're climbing through out the trip. Early start to avoid traffic.
