oh and whats the difference between the 330i engine and the 328i engine. i thought they were both the 3.0 I6?

they are but the 330i has a few different components and is tuned a little better.

its should make some nice numbers!

^^^ they already had one 330i out there for a couple of days... so it shouldnt be too hard to finilize it

mine got better since they lean it out a little bit i noticed at 70 mph in 5th gear 36.5 mpg

330 engine is not the same as a 328. 330 and 325 share the same engine the 330 has a 3 stage intake manifold and the 325 has a 1 stage like the 328 all differently tuned of course.

the 328 and the x3 share the same engine again the x3 has the 3 stage manifold.

i just talked to tony and he probably wont be able to get in until friday so possibly saturday if you head there?

Really? That sounds like too good to be true lol.
I have the engine as you, 328xi... so if you say the mileage gets better, I might have to give this a shot...

EDIT- Question.. Will car still pass emissions and all that crap?

yes... as long as you still have your cat converter (which unless you changed your exhaust you will)

im signed up for an appointment friday to get my tune here in miami. so excited. do you guys know if he'll have the information for the specific tune udubbadger has? like do they sync their information or how will he know how to do the same thing LET did in chicago?

My friend is a hard-core beemer guy, and he says that this mod will probably only last for a while, as the o2 sensor adjusts and equalizes everything back to normal.
What do you guys think?

i doubt it. and even if it does, they say that they'll re-tune your car if it is overridden when getting serviced or like you say if the o2 sensor adjusts.

the adjustability issue was already looked at and as they're not changing and intercepting the signal. They're changing the maps so when it adapts it will actually improve hp rather than reduce it.

automatic and manual wont change.

the tune is uploaded onto the LET server and then the different vendors will pull it off of the server and upload it to your computer. it is the same tune just different locations.

I am going to wait and see what more people say as they get their ECU flashed. Actually the best way to know if this works is racing someone with the same car but the mod!!
Anyone around nyc wants to give this a shot and go for a race?

yep you'll get the same tune I have. The tune is MADE by LET and then sent out to its distributers... just like Ben (Nebster) said above
