Lack of parking sense

I parked my car to the far end, almost touching the curb, in the Mall parking.
Then someone parks his/her truck to make sure my door gets dinged.
Luckily, nothing happened. May be their kids were at home.

But the point from where I saw this truck (parked) until I checked my car, my heart was beating at full blast.

^^^it's bad enough, there are parking lines for a reason. lol I park the same way and my old e90 and my new e92 have been dinged pretty bad. fucken parking assholes haha

The same thing happened to me last week & thank goodness there's no ding. There are drivers that don't look at the lanes, they are just parking their car in between. But that one is bad, didn't even care if the car is straight...must be in a hurry...

OP, that's a really good parking job. If you hadn't been so careful, you probably would have a dent and higher blood pressure right now.

Don't you guys hate it when you go to a parking lot; park out in the middle of nowhere by yourself. When you return, there's another car park right next to you......out in the middle of nowhere.....

It's because you took the time to make sure you were close to the curb. That made the extra space in your parking spot available. But that red gmc was probably in a hurry and simply tried to "equal" the distance between the car on their left and your car, which put them nearly into your spot. And you look to be a tiny bit crooked, which is likely why they are, using your car and the other one as guides, and not the paint on the ground.

I hate it! I hate it! I always have scrap paper and a pen in the car and leave a note not to ding the car haha

thats how i park at school and anywhere i go, all the way at the end almost touching the curb, and when some idiot parks next to me i just give him by business card.

I park the same way , to many quarter sized dents i've had to have removed some people just don't care especially in NJ/tristate . atleast nothing happened good thing u parked far over they would have probably rubbed the side of your car if you didn't , then most likely left the scene

You park the same way I do. Always against a curb, as close as I can possibly get! People are so inconsiderate in lots.
