I have Business Nav CIC and it doesn't do music storage - glovebox USB is for map updates only. You appear to have the S6FLA option though so it should play music from USB stick (armrest)?

As dommoly says, no storage! Business Nav uses solid state memory instead of a hard drive so no room for expansion. I had Business Nav in my 2010 e90 which makkan00 recently upgraded to 2011 Pro Nav, a very worthwhile upgrade, Business & Pro are like chalk and cheese

Ian, i notice your only down the road from me in Southport, how much was the upgrade & did he come to you? You say they're like Chalk & Cheese, can you let me know how chalk & cheesy please? |

I can't remember exactly how much I paid and I think it depends on what is available and what you need, I also had the armrest USB fitted which was extra, buut ask Sam (makkan00) for a price.
You'll have to go to Sam Combox gives you streaming music and album art etc The Pro Nav has the wider screen with much better and more detailed maps, split screen, BMW apps etc but, generally speaking it's just easier and better to use. Whereabouts in Lancashire are you? |

Jay already has combox and usb in the central arm rest. If he ever decide to go for a CIC professional then his cost would be less than what you paid mate. CIC kits are £550 to start with and then there is cost of fitting and coding involved.

Just to add, all in, I paid less for the full Pro upgrade with armrest USB than BMW quoted me for just the armrest USB - I know which I'd rather have

So if you ever wish to go for a full professional CIC, you will require one on a correct firmware (combox compatible) and somebody to fit and code it. Thanks.
