i hope you werent expecting to bump the output of your 325i to the 330i's level because i believe there are some difference in the ECU in addition to the intake.

i would be curious if it makes any difference without the proper tune to support this mod.

Ya I talked to Shoreline motoring and the ECU will be updated as well. The cool thing is with DTE it's a lifetime guarantee for updates so it won't cost any extra...so I'm pretty sure it's gonna work out. I ordered it from Irvine BMW Parts DPT actually...you can just get it direct. This is gonna be interesting...

http://www.shorelinemotoring.com is this the company?

How much for labor to install the ECU, flash, etc? That's a damn good deal for the 3-stage manifold.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/BMW_E90#Coup.C3.A9

Coupé (E92)
The two-door coupé model of the 3-Series became available in August 2006. It is also the first BMW coupé offered with xDrive. All E92s also come standard with Xenon HID headlights and "retractable seatbelt helpers" that extend from the B pillar to hand you the seatbelt when the key fob is in the ignition and the door is closed. Interestingly enough, the coupé is longer and narrower than its E90 counterpart. The E92 comes with 320i, 325i, 325xi, 328i, 328xi, 330i, 330xi, 335i, 335xi, 320d, 325d, 330d, 335d and 330xd models (availability of certain models depends on region; diesels not available to the US market until 2008).

The world is bigger than North America. Guess what? BMW still sells 325s and 330s.

The 328 uses the N51 (SULEV) or the N52KP (ULEV). The N52KP comes in 3 versions:

N52B30O1 - High output (260 hp) (used in X3)
N52B30M1 - Medium output (230 hp) (used in 328)
N52B30U1 - Possible future application (215 hp)

Here's an article on the N54, N52 and N51: http://www.insols.com/20070507_00351...ENGINE_INT.pdf

Here's a 2007 Order Guide that shows which engines are in which models :

Okay well anyway...I'm still trying to guage what to expect...

Right now:

DTE Software

RD-Sport cat-back exhaust

Dinan Ram-air Intake

Dinan High-Flow Throttle Body

...with the 3-stage I'm getting the software updated...I looked on the site for the 330I and it's a 28 hp gain for the software...so without the throttle body intake and exhaust it's 282 hp at the crank....we'll have to see what it's gonna be....I really don't know what to expect...but if it all works out I should have a little more than 282 at the crank...which is like 250ish at the wheels? Sounds about right...but like I said we'll have to see. I'm pretty pumped...this is gonna be really interesting
