Experimented today with the grilles and 'stache. I think it came out great! I see what they say about the textured finish though. I left the chrome on the slats because arguably chrome does look on Sparkling Graphite.

spend $800 with a good detailer and make your car actually look good, not like a cheap attempt at being cool.

I'd also like to hear details...how does it look up close? Reason I ask is because at Bimmerfest there were two plasti-dipped cars (green and blue) that looked incredible from a far, but not so much up close. And they represented a professional plasti-dipper (from NY I believe).

I got my car dipped at Dip Haus, vert friendly people. getting it re dipped soon as it was a rush job to get it done before bimmerfest but still came out really good. in the dim streetlights of dc, the car shines like a star.

My car is currently wrapped matte white and i wouldn't recommand anyone going matte white. Its a PITA to keep clean and I pick up anything and everything on the road. When I get to shows I have trouble wiping it down since I have to use a special detailer for the matte look. Everytime I wipe down, I'm praying that it wont leave any smudges on the vinyl. But when washed it's pretty easy but I would not recommand matte white for DD.
