225M replica wheels

Hi Guys,

I needed new tyres and since I was getting sick of the VMR714's I had since my first E90, I thought it was time to get some new wheels. I've been eyeing off these 225M reps from Tempe Tyres and in the end the wheel + tyre deal was just simply too good to refuse. The wheels are a brighter silver to the origional 225M and the fact I waxed them prior to fitting them to help coat the wheels against brake dust probably makes them look a bit brighter than what they are. I think they look fantastic for the money and satisfies my quest for a new look.

Yeah, they're a bit shinier than OEM, but they look pretty good if you ask me. I was half considering those myself at one stage actually.

Looks very nice. They really bring out the colour of your car. Looks alot brighter now as opposed to the darker rims.

225M's are one of my favorite wheels, OEM or otherwise, to go on an E9X.

For that price how can you go wrong!

Based in Sydney. Best to communicate with them over email as they seem very rushed on the phone.

Hey mate

Nice wheels, just bought a set of 225M's myself and was wondering how you were finding the Hankook tyres. For $1750 as a wheel/tyre package those would have to be some of the cheapest 19" tyres you can buy. I'm only in a 323i so they'd probably be enough for me too but was interested in your thoughts on grip and road noise.

They are a very quiet tyre compared to the Falken 452 and the Khumo KU31 which I had on before. Grip in the dry is really good. We have had some rain here over the last few days and I found that in the wet when the tyres were cold, I had the traction control light flash a couple of times (very rare in a 320!!!) but once I was on the road for about 5 min, I tried my best to get the traction light to flash again and couldn't.

For the price, I think it would have to be the cheapest 19" tyres set around.

Thanks mate, advice much appreciated.

Was looking at a set of Conti Contact Sport 2's for about $1450. Will see what the Hankook's come in at before making the decision.
