Mod friendly dealer

I need an oil change and I only have an injen intake. Does anyone know a dealer that won't mind a simple intake? It's a hassle putting if back and forth

Your intake shouldn't have anything to do with an oil change. You should be ok.

You can be FBO and they shouldn't give you trouble for things like a oil change, brake pads, tires rotated etc. If you are under CPO & trying to get something paid for under the warranty (turbos, fried engine, etc), if there is a connection between your mods then they'd deny you warrantied service.

IF your intake was somehow responsible for any damage, then yes it could void the warranty. But if you installed your intake wrong & that happened, you deserved it -- Takes real skill to screw up a simple intake install (NOT talking Mr5/CAIs here)

I go well out of my way to avoid bayside like the plague. The foreman would insta-void my warranty lol.

LOL funny how mentioning bayside automatically cancels out the "you're fine". So does anyone know if BMW of manhattan is mod friendly? I installed the intake right. There are no codes. Followed all 72 tedious steps. =[

BMW of manhattan is almost as bad as bayside. Basically if you have mods stay away.

Had a good experience at Pace BMW and I heard JMK is friendly too

Not as bad as Freehold BMW (NJ). When I was first looking into getting rims I went and spoke to one of their "service managers". I just wanted to know what the best offset was to use on a E90 328 when going with 18in rims. The guy went off the deep end, saying how after market rims will "void my suspension warranty and can cause my air bags to deploy". At that point I was like, ok time to back up and slowly walk away from this insane asylum.

I'd ASSUME (key word here) that Rallye BMW would be mod-friendly, especially after they hosted that meet a couple weeks ago. I think the only things that were OEM there were the E30 M3s and the E24 6-series I saw pics of.
