I had an orange (Magma Red) 2006 636 in between my 2 other CBR600RRs
As everyone else has said, most definitely were the riders. |

So I ride a 1998 VFR800 with 110 HP and 60Ft/lbs of torque. Any R6 has a minimum of 115 HP at the crank. I'm not sure about torque.
My VFR weighs in at 400 lbs and with me on it about 580 lbs. That gives a hp to weight ratio of 1/5.8 I'll "give" you 400 hp (it doesn't matter) and a 3600 lb car. Ratio is 1/12. So you want us to believe you can outrun a vehicle with a power to weight ratio that is double and some of your car??? As an owner of an open class bike and a 335i, I'll say this. While a 335 is a respectable car, there is no eff'n way you can even get close to a bike. The performance of modern sport bikes is so extreme that unless you are driving a Veyron or some other monster car, don't even bother trying to race a bike. The only way a car keeps up in a straight line with a modern sport bike is if the person, 1. Can't ride or is afraid to push it 2. Didn't want to suck you up the tailpipe Cars don't beat bikes in drag or roll on and you can't out brake a bike either. Corners are actually different and a car with real sticky tires can out corner a bike. |

As a previous owner of a CBR F4i 600...
The only way you'd beat a bike 1000/750/600cc is if the rider was not willing to go full throttle through all the gears, because of nerves/scared or whatever else. |

Motorcycles have the same issue braking that they do going around turns. It's all about coefficient of friction where the rubber meets the road. Most sport bikes can stop from 60 mph in around 120 feet. Sport cars (and even sporty cars) with sticky tires can do it in closer to 100 feet. |

If you didn't live a solid 4 hours away I would race you just for the hell of it. Regardless of who wins...I just have a good time competing.
If you beat me 3/3 times though...You have to race me on foot at any distance. 40yd. 100yd. 400m. 1mi. or 3mi. I would match your 20 dollars and use towards the beer and wings after were done. PS: Sorry you didn't like the dog. |

uh, what?! I think i know what you are trying to say, maybe im not understanding what you meant by this statement "a number of cars." Last time i checked there was very few off the showroom cars that can trap 120+ out of the box... a Dinan S2/Jb+ stacked 335i not being one of them

I owned one of the fastest production motorcycle a while back. The status symbol often put me into races with high HP cars. Often time, depends what they are, I neglected changing gears. It often made others believe that they were able to keep up with me because they were just couple cars behind me.
That being said, if I saw a bmw 335i pacing me on the freeway while I was riding my Hayabusa, I would've just kept in 6th gear and just rolled it. I did it with an C5Z06 and kept pace with it until 140, and I don't believe a FBO 335i have the same P/W with a Stock Z06 (sub 3200lb car). Still having doubts? Watch this video. and 335i != Gallardo regardless the mods. |

Not vouching for the OP and his run. ZR1 Corvette, GTR, Porsche 911 Turbo and of course some exotics. All capable of 120+ mph traps and while they are expensive cars, it doesn't require a Bugatti Veyron as indicated by the poster I responded to, to keep up with 600cc bikes. Put these cars on the freeway with a 600cc sport bike and all of these cars will walk a 600cc bike after ~130mph. Drag starts to play a much larger factor than weight at these speeds and a motorcycle's aerodynamics suck compared to a sports car. Start modding some of these supercars and you can put them well into 9-second ETs and well into the 140 - 150mph trap range. Why do some of you believe liter bikes are untouchable by anything on four wheels? |
