While there is no "Safe mode", the DME has some ability to compensate. A short (gentle) drive home to reflash will likely be OK, however WOT runs over and over might lead to undesirable results.

This map feels like I traded some midrange punch for top end punch. I like it, but I'll have to review the datalog. I am basing this from my old v301 Stage 2+ btw.

The Mapping is designed for a %30 blend, as long as your math is correct blending the fuel the DME can handle small fueling changes. Any large variations in blend would require a fuel scalar adjustment.

We recommend testing fuel for content, there are a few options for this. Some simple, some not. And make sure to log!

For those of us who have no E85 reasonably near buy could one just mix 30% straight alcohol to the pump gas?

Or get a meth kit, and pick your mix 50/50 meth/water and up and call it a day.

Think it's time you place an order or get a ProTune for a lower octane map. Xylene/toluene is nasty shit and I have absolutely no idea how much of that shit you'd need to bump from pump gas to 100 octane

Wow, this is very impressive... especially considering the baseline. Which Dyno was used and what supporting mods did this 2007 335i have? I'm sorry if this info has already been given, skimmed through the thread quickly...

The 335i has an intake, fmic, dp's, and a catback (ie. Stage 2 +FMIC).

All testing was done on our Mustang MD500.
