So, I told my dealership that they could either provide me w/ a loaner car or I'd demand my deposit back and gp get someother car elsewhere...

Long story short, I got the loaner and am still waiting for my 325i to show up...

It feels very rediculous waiting 3 months for an entry level bimmer series (even though it's coming fully loaded w/ many options)

Damn...I can't believe you're still waiting. Do they have an ETA for you?

I was told yesterday that I should "hopefully" be able to pick up the car by this Friday...

Yeah, it's been a rough wait and will make me think twice about ordering another bimmer..

Keep in mind, the date you order is not relevant. The production date is really the most important date.

I always ensure I know the production date when ordering a car so that the order is not subject to delays.

That's why our 2nd E90 took a few weeks from order to pickup.

At least we now know that we should place an order a couple of months before we're ready to get it. I was naive enough to think that I could find one on a lot with most of the options that I wanted.
