Seeking golfers (or people who like to play :))

Forgot to post this link, I'm trying to start an NCC golf outing in the spring, so if you're interested, put your name on the NCC thread.

Speaking of golf... My wife wans to start playing but I don't know where to send her for lessons. We live in West Springfield, near the intersection of Roling Road and Old Keene Mill. Not lookng to spend a fortune but cost is not such an issue...

there is a golf school in centreville, another in south riding, the Dulles Golf Academy has great private lessons and they are in Sterling, VA...I am sure if you ask around you local golf course they'll give you the name/number of a good golf instructor.

If crappy golfers can join, I'll join the list. Another baby on the way in the spring, though, so we'll see how much time I can devote to golf.

we're ALL crappy golfers, which is why we have other jobs and pay to play...if it were the other way around, we'd definitely not be crappy golfers...

That being said I shot a 91 this past Sunday at Penderbrook. I had a 77 with three to go, and went bogey (4), par (5), and bogey (5) for a 91...I had a shot at a sub-90 round for the first time EVER, and blew it...!!

But I am positive I'll return to form with 99-105's for the spring...

thats pretty good Scott. I went to the range last night and couldnt get anything to go straight consistently. Gotta fight thru the winter rust.

this event isnt for people who can play...its more for people (like Scott said) who just like to play. I'll probably even pair people up based on ability just to make it more fun

Also, please use the NCC link above so I can keep all the names in 1 place. Even if you cant ultimately make it, so big deal...we'll see you the next time around.

The weather today was ridiculously warm, and I had a good range session.

looks like the date is gonna be on the 31st, but there are a few people (Ase2dais, Scottz71, Sniz) here that havent chose a date yet. please do so ASAP so I can lockup the date and start the real planning

BK - are you signing up too?

anyone else wanna sign up? As Scott stated above, none of us are PGA pros, so if you have a set of clubs and wanna play 18, eat, and hang out with other BMW people, then sign up on the NCC website please.
