Once, many years ago, I had a GTI stolen in Philly. I spent two days rolling around the neighborhoods where stolen cars are processed or dumped. Sure enough, we came across the car, sans battery and springs (yup, the shocks were still in the car). We ran, grabbed a battery and stole it back, much to the protestations of the locals. It was a pretty hairy moment.

The moral of the story is, don't discount targeted searching for it. The sooner the better: it doesn't take long to chop a car. Good luck, man, I feel for you.

wow thats lucky you got it back...i went around shops and back roads to see if i could find anything but nothing so far but thanks for the luck

thanks man yeah that sucks i just dont get why cant those ppl get a real job because they act so poor to steal someones else's property that is paid for, Its not hard to get a job and save up newbs get jealous i guess.
