225/45R17 Dunlop M3DSST runflats sold out, LM22runflat low stock.

FYI, 225/45R17 Dunlop M3DSST runflats are now sold out. The nearest comparable tire the Bridgestone Blizzak LM22rft are beginning to get low in stock and have already run out in our main warehouse in South Bend, IN. We still have limited quantities left in our Delaware warehouse. If you've been waiting to order your winter tires/wheels for any reason and want runflats, try to avoid delaying much longer!

Actually I don't have *any* 255/35R18 snows left. What many have been doing is running 225/40R18 or 235/40R18 all around. They'll fit both the front and rear wheels with no problem.

I would avoid mixing due to safety/stability issues.

What is outlook for getting more Dunlop 225/45R17's instock before the end of the month? I wish I had known about this tire sooner, as I read up on it more and more, it seems to be superior to the Blizzak's.

From what I'm being told they are gone for the season. Unless something changes, but that looks doubtful.

**stock update**

As of right now I'm down to my last few sets of LM22Rft as well.

After those sell tonight we'll be down to two last styles of runflat winter tires in 225/45R17 : The Conti TS810S and the Pirelli 240Sotto Zero. Both are good, but considered to be a slight step down in ice and snow traction, but better dry road handling and cornering compared to the M3DSST or LM22RFT.
