BMS N55 Intake- verdicts?

Waiting for them to be back in stock but having second thoughts after reading about them sounding like "wet farts" at high rpm's.

People with it already- what do you think, are the "wet farts" theory full of crap?

It sounds pretty good to me. No issue with "wet farts" but Terry himself installed mine so maybe those that have the problem installed the intake incorrectly? Also makes the engine bay look a bit nicer.

I have mine installed and have no complaints. However, I am not as sensitive to these sounds as other posters I believe since I've been modding cars for 18 years. I believe other than stock sounds should be expected when modifying a car from stock.

It's great.
Fitment is good
Sounds good.
Those noises are just the turbo and wastegate noises.

I am very pleased with mine and would recommend it if you are looking for sound features mainly. You really hear the turbo and waste gate. I like the sound, others may not.

If you're NY/ NJ Local buy mine- never used- for N55. I simply decided to go another route with my modding journey. I'm just asking the price I paid minus shipping (180$ cash) local meet up / pick up.

There is a bracket that will be sent out soon..
