E46 Brembo 8 piston GT kit to fit E90?

Hi,
Does any body can help me with this question?
The price of the Brembo GT Kit for E46 M3 with 8 piston caliper is around $4000 while the GT kit for E90 with only 6 piston also have price around $4000.

So I was thinking if I buy the old E46 M3 8 piston Brembo GT Kit,can I fit it on the E90?
if have to modified what modification needed for it?
Does the rotor mounting need to be modified too or only the caliper adapter need to be modified for installing it on an E90?

Thanks

I don't think anyone here would know the answer to that question. You should send an e-mail to Brembo. I would assume it would not work but who knows, I have seen E46's with Porsche brakes.

I was hoping some of the supporting vendor in this forum would know the answer since they have experience installing Big Brake Kit on both E46 and E90.So they know the size and difference between both.
I hope...

Hi,

Thanks for the response,

It has been a while since I start this thread,
and I already do many research regarding application for E90 and E46.
And also the new Bremb 6 piston monoblock caliper kit that available for the E90 are much better then the old 8 piston one it replaced. It is stronger/stiffer construction, lighter and better response (at least according to the spec from brembo).

But what matter the most for me is the actual dimension of the 6 piston caliper is slightly bigger then even the 8 piston.(the outer casing),
I was worried before if the 6 piston would not have the same nice large caliper look as the 8 piston one. That is why I want to know if the 0ld 8 piston from E46 M3 kit would fit E90.

What wooried me now is whether the new 335i and the 320i would have the same mounting dimension,
I know that current 320i,325i and 330i all share same brake mounting spec (size etc).

Why would you put that on?
Brembo just developed their new monoblock 6 Piston caliper. The brakes are the same size, 380mm (15") It's the same price... $4295.

Our price is $3999+Shipping.
I will post a pic after I resize and load onto our site!

Thanks!
