Let us hope! If they aren't after waiting almost 4 months, I might pout like a teenage girl not getting a bmw for her sweet 16, lol.

How aggressive are the V3s? One of the cars I'm looking at picking up has that suspension. It would be my daily driver.

The V1's are great... I've had mine on for almost 5k miles now and I've been very happy with them, even as an everyday driver too! The car is so much more fun to drive and handles much better, even over bumpy roads, its still planted and not jarring at all.

Here is a picture of mine... my front is about in the middle of the adjustment, and I have the rear a little higher to keep my 275's from rubbing (fenders are not rolled yet) and I drove this way in the snow

Looks like I am going to be picking up myself some KW V1 coils... I realized my front shock went today... and there is no sense in just replacing 1 shock right? So i might as well just get coils now. Makes sense right? Espcially getting quoted 550/shock before install..

550/shock?! Wow that's crazy!

KW V1's are a great option.

can you raise the car for winter months to the max height and bring it back down in the summer without doing an alignment ?

looking to get V1s in a few weeks.

Looks great! Do you recall how many threads do you have left on the front and rear?

If you are changing the ride height by over an inch in the winter, if you drive quite a few miles, you should definitely get it aligned.

I sold my 335xi with the coilovers, and my next two cars (08 535i and now an '11 535i) I avoided the xDrive because of the extra weight and the GOD AWFUL stock suspension. BMW should be ashamed. And they STILL use shitty suspensions on the xDrives today. People are buying them, probably not even aware at how the suspension on the xDrives is compromised.

I just found out my rear shocks are gone, and I'm thinking of going with V1s. Can anyone tell me what the install labour is like? hours and/or cost?

On average it's roughly $100 per corner, but obviously price differs at different shops. You will also need an alignment after so expect upwards of $400 for install and alignment.

I got mine installed and aligned from a forum member on here for $375 flat

The suspension on your '08 335xi from the factory is garbage (as was mine). Yes, the KW V1s are so much better, and how the car should come from the factory.

Was considering the V1's for a long time, even when I had my 328. Ordered H&R coils today from Turner instead. Apart from price, the only real influence I had in my decision was H&R being a major part of DTM for BMW over the last couple years. I know it sounds stupid but it seems like 90% of the Xi's on coils run the V1's and I usually prefer to set my builds apart from "the standard". V1's are tried and true for us, and I've enjoyed riding around on them in my friends car. It'll be interesting to see how different they are from the H&R's.
