Bimmerpost members get a discount anyways, it's about the same price, maybe $100 or so more. Unless you get a used PBX, it should be 2x the cost, but definitely worth it.

Yeaa, the exhaust is like 1k haha

Definitely worth it though, especially for our NA car. Transform it the feel completely.

Search around to get the average price for a pbx. The lowest I ever saw it was $180. The average is $200 for these (I know cause I sold mines a few months back for that price)

Just bought it from burger tuner for 284. Is it easy to install because the instruction is kinda complicated on the wiring part.

I didnt find the instructions at all complicated, me and a buddy installed it in about 2hrs(we double / triple checked everything). Very simple install as long as you follow the instructions, helps to have someone there to help remove/install wires. Oh and i would disconnect the battery, some people dont but i didnt feel like risking the life of my ecu.

I am wondering where I would be able to get this for my 2009 328i sedan have replaced all the piping with straight pipes (no muffler no resonator yes cats) what is the possible effect of the Pbx? I live in Miami does anyone know where I could get my car tuned?

It won't void your warranty.. The dealer has no reason to crack open your ECU. Although you will be better off with an AA or Euro tune. The PBX was pretty nice in map 3 but the tunes beat it hands down.

No to reset just do do the following
1. turn car ON, engine off (just press start button without the holding the break)
2. now hold down the gas for like about 15 to 20 seconds
3. let go of gas and start car
PBX is now off
to set map
follow steps 1 and 2
after letting go of gas wait a second and then full kick down the gas pedal till you reach the map you want.. so if you want map 3 you would push the pedal all the way down 3 times (push down, release and quickly do it again till you reach your map)
