custom painted e92

I just wanted to share some pictures of my E92 with everyone, it was recently painted (not wrapped) in Polarblau metallic by a local place down here in Southern California. I tried to do something different with this paint, hope you enjoy

May I ask the name of the place you got it painted? Also where did you get those gorgeous headlights from?

thanks man! the paint place is called "J J paint and auto body" it's in costa mesa and the headlights were just a relatively simple DIY done by me with some dtm rings and carbon eyelids found online.

no it's not a BMW color or any sort of BMW specific color but i just thought it looked nice and unique

They gonna buff out that orange peel..? I noticed just about all BMW's have this, even when I asked my SA @ my local BMW he said, "it's kind of a trademark" lmao.. I said, "yeah so are rattling turbos" and we both laughed, it was a good time..

That’s very clean, great looking colour.

Was it a closed door respray? What do the door jams and things look like, I’ve always wondering on a colour changed car.

no they completely painted it in all separate pieces so my door jams are painted and coated as well as my trunk jam, the only part i told them not to paint is my engine bay (because they'd have to lift my engine and i just wanted a small part of space gray left to memorialize the original color lol

)
