What would you pay? 2007 335i coupe
I'm going in to negotiate the price on this following car tomorrow-
2007 335i coupe. alpine white/black interior. The car was leased to one owner and currently has 45,000 miles on it, with clean title/carfax. It has the basic package, no premiums or anything. They have put 4 new tires on it. It has a 6 year/100k mile warranty. Asking price is $30,500 I checked out a similar one- blue/black interior, with 48,000 miles, also with no extra packages. Extended warranty was also needed to be purchased ($2500-$3500 I believe). There asking price was $25,500, or $27k OTD. (no warranty) $30-$31k with the warranty. I'm really interested in the white coupe. so my question is what would you pay for this 335i? Thanks. |

Agreed that the mileage is on the high side. Be aware that the CPO 6yr/100k warranty is not exactly the same as the original 4yr/50k warranty. I picked up my CPO 2007 335i with 32k miles AW/black w/ auto, premium, sports, and navi for 29k a little over a month ago.
If you can wait, I would shop around |

Those prices are not terrible, but not good either. I bought my 07 335i coupe for 28,970 with sport pkg and bmw assist w/bluetooth with 29000 miles, and its certified.

This is a repost, but I thought it might help you out.
On 31 Dec 09 I paid $27,770* + tax, tag, title, and doc fees for the following: 2007 335i Sedan Jet Black paint/Terra leather interior 6-speed manual ZSP-Sport Package ZPP-Premium Package ZCW-Cold Weather Package CA-Comfort Access 27,200 miles on the odometer. I had no trade-in, so the dealer didn't play a shell game with the sale price. The original 2007 invoice cost was $42k and the original MSRP was $45k. The suggested CPO price was $31,995. The car’s in-service date was 22 Nov 06, so I have 11 months of free maintenance and 35 months of warranty remaining. I took advantage of the special 0.9% financing for 48 months and BMW waived the first two payments. * : Price after first two payments by BMW. The sale price was $29,000.

2007 Price Check ??
I am also looking at an 2007 335i with
13,690 miles, one owner 6 sp Sport, Premium, Heated Seats Space Grey, Coral Red Interior After the price wrestling match we came to 28K. Car has no open issues and is in as near new condition as it can be. Car has one year left on original warranty. Not a CPO since this is an Audi dealer. Previous owner traded for an S5. After looking for a number of months thought this is one to pull the trigger on. Any comments/input would be appreciated. Was considering buying one of the extended warranty packages - should I ? Thanks David |

Assuming it's a Coupe (Coral interior), I think that's a great deal on a very nice car. The Audi dealer probably has $26k in it (unless they put new tires on it, which isn't likely at < 14k miles). CPO really isn't an issue since BMW will fix any problems over the next year (IF the car hasn't been over revved or otherwise abused by the previous owner). You should have a friendly BMW SA run the VIN for you just to make sure.

You’re welcome.
FYI, the current wholesale trade-in value for a 2007 BMW 335i Coupe is: $24,000 for the base vehicle @ 31,000 miles - $650 without automatic transmission + $700 for “Sport” (includes 18” wheels and Sport Seats) + $1,575 for 13,700 miles After adding in (no more than) $1,500 for the dealer to make the vehicle “Market Ready” and adding in a “reasonable” profit, $28k sounds like a great deal to me for that car!
