So, you may have seen my other thread ( opps bought an m3) but want to take the big brake kit of the 335d, to sell the car. However I foolishly sold it to a forum member, discs, calipers, brackets, and brake hoses.

So I need to find a replacement set up. Are 335d my only options? Are 335i the same?

Are e90 and e92 the same?.

Could I swop the m3 brakes from the new m3 set up straight over onto the 335d and put my bbk on the m3?. Think I remember fitting m3 to 335d being impossible?..

Anyone got a set up fr sale?..

335i or d, e90/1/2/3 are all the same brakes.

Shouldn't have sold the OE set!

Add me to the list of swap + cash deals - might also point out that I had new OEM pads and rear disks last week :-)

Absolutely right. Hindsight as they say!

Now now chaps. For me to do this it would have to be a very tempting offer, however I may consider as m3 exhausts and suspension kits are mega expensive!

Kit details, pb brake kit, ( same parts as more expensive manufacturers but better price) 380mm 8 pot fronts, pads, carriers, braided lines etc everything you'd need. I even have a spare set of brand new front discs, as when I first got them I got some wheel wobble. Dan sent me a new set of fronts, but it turned out to be worn front control arms. Powder coated in white, but obviously easy to change if off the car.

380mm rear kit, all same kit but 6pot and retains standard handbrake.

Been on car 9 months and covered 1500 miles. Awesome bit of kit.

Rear pic,

Front,

Wheels are 20" but I don't believe they will fit 18s. 19s minimum.

Cost me 2.3k plus import duty.

Not really for sale but pm if want to tempt me

Hmm, yes. It's nothing to be embarrassed about. It happens to me every time in clean them. Maybe im not interested in p/ exs! ( although the eisenman exhaust is calling me for the m3!), and that does sound sexy!

This thread is about I'm looking for a set of 335d brakes, and info of what other brakes may fit. Hadn't thought about it but a couple of people, yourself included mentioned they'd be up for a part ex. Got me thinking that I'm sure the m3 brakes are very competent as is, so mentioned I may be up for a p ex, as seen some exhaust, suspensions for the m3 that I quite fancy, however as I've havnt considered selling prior to this thread, not entirely sure I want to sell. No chess involved. If interested let me know via pm, just sent you one. Cheers Nick

Reluctantly, due to cost of fitting to m3 being silly these are now up for part ex/ sale in the classifieds.
