E92 Crank Case Breather Housing

Hi guys, some advice needed please.

My 335d has been dropping some oil for the last while (nothing drastic, id notice some spotting on the drive when it had been parked up overnight).

Went to a BMW specialist that I have used before and while they can't say for sure, they reckon the crank case breather housing needs changing as an initial check.

Has anyone else had to replace this, and did the car drive better afterwards?
I have a feeling that the car is a bit more sluggish low down than normal, but that said it could all be in my head!
Would this be consistent with this issue?

Thanks

Hugh
