A Mod even your wife/girlfriend will approve of...

A carrier bag hook! So the eggs are unbroken when you get home having pulled 3G on the Tesco roundabout...

It's actually a VAG part (No 1K5 867 615) originally for the VW Passat, but I picked mine up for a tenner on eBay. Easy to fix. Mark and drill two small holes in the roof of the boot then use self tapping screws to locate.

The extended storage option (on the E92 anyway) gives you a net on the floor which is quite stretchy and could hold loose items very easily. As well as a 12v power socket it also gives you one of those shopping bag hooks.

I'm sure mine already has a hook on the right hand side of the boot, but doesn't look as sturdy as the VAG part.

ha, remember the curry hooks in my old A4 1.9TDI company car back in 2003. V useful.

E91 Tourer has two bag hooks, one on each arch cover, but they're no as good as the VAG ones!

I always use the high level passenger handle for the bag.

I can't say she's particularly keen on the idea though!
