Arrow My E93 330i M-tech Exhaust Mod + pics + SOUND

If can be helpful to anyone - here's my mod (thanx to the forum members).

Parts:
- Magnaflow #12158 - $86
- CF quad diffuser off ebay (was too late when discovered cyba's combo, damn.....) - $180
- cyba's SS DW quads - $ ask the man
- forum reading (priceless!)
- some time (roughly 5 hrs) at muffler shop - $100

Result::
Discrete nice looking tips, more aggressive outlook as well as the sound is.
Compared to stock muffler Magnaflow gives a little deep sound, more bass, no drone at all which is what I was looking for. No lost in power. Vacuum hose tied.

Before:

Stock diffuser removed:

CF diffuser installed - 99% fit, no mods:

Magnalow installation - used stock brackets and rubber:

Support bracket for the extension pipe:

Extension pipe:

Passenger side done:

Driver's side preparation:

Last check-up:

Done:

Personally picked it up from Germany. Order was placed through Leslie dealership in TO.

Grand total was around $600 CAD.

Actually the setup was done by friend of mine who doesn't specialize in mufflers but did a great job. As far as I know most of the chinese shops ask even less than $20 or go for a total cost.

In a week of ride with the new muff I noticed the two outer pipes got a little darker inside and the two inner ones are less which is good.

Thanx to all you guys.

Yeah I will. Used my kid's MP3 player/recorder positioned 3-4 feet behind the car.

You're right about the weight savings. The old muffler is heavier than the car itself
5 hrs is a good time to put all things together, test it and make sure all setup is secure (wont burn my a** off)

yea i took out the storage bin and moved the charcoal filter so the piping to the passanger side wouldnt be so kinked out, gets better flow that way.
