Trout fishing??!!!! My dad has a cabin above Lake Isabella. Kern could be fun in some spots. AND, there's a ski resort (sorta) about 4 miles from the cabin. www.altasierra.com

we might scratch the trip depending on how bad the weather gets ... we might end up going on a weekday when its less crowded and the storm has past

Also, if you guys are planning on going to Bear Mountain, its either really hard slopes or really easy(no fun), no really in between. As for Snow Summit, there are a lot of fun intermediate long runs and like 1 black diamond slope.
