'07 335i HID fog-lights possible? *update*

So here's the deal, I bought a DDM tuning HID kit which flickers, so I solder in a 4700uF capacitor, no more flicker. BUT I keep on getting a bulb-out error on the dash; so I say well that's what I get for being cheap and buy the more expensive canbus kit from highperformancebulbs.com which also gets the error!

To their credit highperformancebulbs.com do state right on their website the '06-'07 models are very sensitive and may get errors.

Question is anyone getting these to work without errors on a '06 or '07 and how??

Thanks.

UPDATE 10/4/12: So I ordered 10,000uF capacitors online and soldered them inline. To my surprise the fogs now work without errors and the car isn't shutting either of them off!

Got these specific capacitors for anyone having the same issue.

Yes it is possible. My buddy had them on his. But I think he got the bulb out error fixed by doing a flash or something

I know it's possible, I was really asking HOW people are doing it.... Because apparently on a 06-07 E90 / E92 it's not easy.

You can have a local coder code out the error warnings. I have mine coded to eliminate the dash bulb error warnings.

My car is an 08 but the build date is 11/7/07. I have been running the kit from HPB for well over a year now and no issues.

Have you emailed HPB? They might be able to send you an extra error canceler.

I bought my kit from UndergroundEuro's for my 2008, and it was a direct PNP kit with no errors/flickering. Ballast only, no capacitors etc. Works great and looks awesome.

May be different for 2007, but they are both pre-LCI, so..

I may have to give them a shot... do you know if they're confirmed working error free on 10/06 (early) build date 2007 E90's ? Because apparently it's the pickiest of the picky.

We install these all day, I have the right ballast for that model, I can assure you error free as long as you install it right.
