Spacers and AWD Issues?

Not sure if anyone has come across such a problem, but it was suggested to me that spacers could cause issues with the AWD system - specifically the front.

Has anyone else been told not to put spacers on the front of an e90 xdrive (335i)???

Is there any potentially realistic driveline issue that could arise?

been running spacers for 4 years now. 12.5mm up front, 15mm out back. just make sure to get good quality spacers. I like the turner motorsports spacers the best. I put anti-seize between the spacer and the rotor so i can easily remove them. Be sure to get extended lugs as well. The main thing AWD people need to look out for is rolling circumference of the tires front to back. It needs to be as close as possible. i think under 3% is ok but dont quote me on that.

It needs to be less than 1%

Spacers will not affect your awd system in any way as long as you use the same width side to side and probably even then it will be ok.

As stated above - track width (which is affected by spacers) has no issues with AWD - wheel/tire diameter DOES & must be within 1%
