how long does it take to get an ED car?
i have heard that ED takes alot longer then normal delivery. i know that you have to order hte car in 3 months advance of the travel date. but when you take the car to the port approx how long will it take before you can truly pick it up from your dealer?

Well, you don't take the car to port - you drop it off at one of the shipping locations and then the car gets trucked to port. I dropped my car off on May 29, and picked it back up from the dealer on July 5. Check the ED forums on bimmerfest. Most people on the east coast seem to average 30-40 days for redelivery.

bobanoid,
go to this website and you will get most of your answers : www.edBMW.com and to answer that particular question: it will take about 4-6 weeks to get your car after you dropped it off in Europe. |
