Are there any fun curvy roads around here that you have driven?

HWY 76 in NW Georgia....beautiful scenery and tight turns!

Take the road out past bushy park towards moncks corner/cypress gardens road. 14 miles of curvy roads and very little traffic. Great place to stretch your cars legs!

But my favorite is Route 622 in VA coming from Lynchburg going NE.... that road is crazy!!! Made for BMWs, for sure, but you have to be VERY careful out there. And if you don't have SP, forget about it!!!

For obvious reasons, most of the curvy roads are near or in the mountains.

There are many good roads in western and SW Virginia. US 501 west of Lynchburg in Bedford County and over towards Glasgow has a few fun stretches, if not clogged with traffic. In fact, many of the roads branching off the Blue Ridge Parkway seem to be decent.

There also a few good roads in Carroll County, VA branching off the BRP. I drove one called Orchard Gap Rd, probably one of the best all year. No room for error on this one though.

Near Asheville, I didn't get a chance to fully explore but Town Mountain road (NC 694) which connects downtown to the BRP is fun. However, it is slightly residential so I'd frown upon taking that one too aggressively.

Altamont Rd. winds around Paris Mountain in Greenville. However similar to the one above, it is residential and often clogged with slow drivers.

The dragon... It is between NC and TN through the mountains. Tail of the Dragon, you should check that out. There is great scenery and some other roads up in that area that are fun to drive as well.

That is a whole route from Goose Creek area to Mt. Pleasant. I believe you live over there, right?
