I put Koni FSD's on my 325i last month ... I regret it.

They are absolutely the worst shocks I've ever driven. It feels like I've got a dead body in my trunk by the way it lunges over every dip in the road. The back tires skitter over rough patches and it sounds like there is a basketball rolling around in my trunk.

I bought a BMW expecting a nice ride. I waisted about $1400 on the Koni's and the installation. Truely disappointed!

I won't throw any more money at it now. I'm done with BMWs I think. I know a lot of people here and all over the world love them, and I expected to join the club, but I'm done.

Now I'm looking at the Cadillac ATS. Supposedly, it's got fantastic ride/handling which is what I crave.

Amazing first post. Sounds like someone screwed up your install, which is pretty easy to do.
