Bad to put h&r springs on stock sports suspension?

As the title says, how bad is it for me to run H&R sport springs on my 07 335xi e90 that has the stock sport suspension on it? thanx in advance for the input guys

if your car has low mileage..it wont be that bad, but you wont like the ride quality of it, especially if you have the RFTs still on it.

I try to recommend pairing shocks with it as much as I can. It does set you back another $700 or so for Bilsteins, but they are worth their weight in gold. The ride quality is just in another league, it doesnt have the harshness as the stock shocks do.

I have H&R Sports on the OEM e92 Sport Suspension. Rides better than stock IMO, and when I moved from the OEM 18's and run flats to 19's with non run flats the rides even better.

I only have about 20k on them, but I think it feels exactly the same as the day I put them on.

Matt summed it up nicely. Bilsteins are the way to go, or you can go with Koni also. Both shock sets matched with the H&R sport springs will give you an awesome ride.

You might also want to consider going with the H&R Cup kit. The touring setup uses the sport springs that you are considering, but have spring rate matched shocks that come as part of the complete package.
