How about getting the RPM limiter to work when the engine is cold - like the M cars?

Quick Update: The PROcede now has control of some DASHBOARD goodies

Just a thought for the Steptronic Auto guys:

From the beginning I always had tossed around ideas of a way to be able to switch between Maps 1 and 2 by moving the gear shift selector from "D" to "DS". For example Low Boost(Map 1) in "D" mode and High Boost(Map 2) in "DS/Manual" mode.
I was going to try a microswitch setup using the 3 map switcher cables on the harness, but if this could somehow be interfaced via Canbus it would be a bonus.

The evolution and progress of the Procede has come a long way since it's inception Well Done to all the Vishnu Tuning team.

Can Rev1 owners use the 3.3 firmware?
Or are we done in terms of updates?

so bar system boost gauge via oil temp gauge. no way of it being in the digital cluster taking over, lets say, the instant gas consumption display?

Is it possible to display boost on the BMW Performance steering wheel?

I know it is a longshot for this to even be developed since few of us have these wheels but I am wondering if it is even possible.

I am pretty sure that shiv said that the canbus integration will not work with the Rev1. Something about a new chip or two integrated into the circuitry.

Yah a boost gauge on the main cluster is major icing on the cake.

I can't wait to get the canbus update for my RevII

so wait.... just display of current map? or you will somehow be able to do map switching with say the cruise control buttons or something....

i'd like to ditch the keyfob (homelink) - and valet + map 1 + map 2 would be cool...

the cluster boost gauge would be bad ass.

when will the harness update be available or is it already?

Yeah, when I first heard this I thought Shiv & Co. had been able to hack the digital display so we could get a numeric boost reading.
