Will lowering void my warranty
hay iam pretty sure i want to lower my car with H&R ss but i heard tht bmw might void stoopid things like ....wheel and tire ,drivetrain warranty. And a couple people told me that H&R alone are not compatible you need aftermarket shocks but i think i just want to lower it for looks not driving capabilities
so ?1)will it void my warranty ?2) i drag my car and drive hard sometimes is it a MUST for shocks with H&R

will void suspension related warranty. and the springs will cause the stock shocks and struts to wear more quickly

H&R springs were NOT designed to be used with stock shock/strut setup. They wont damage your car but your stock shocks will wear out pretty quickly. |

what the hell does drag racing have to do with warranty and my question does not have anything to do with drag racing it has to do with suspension sherlock.

Yes, even H&R Springs will void the warranty on the suspension components of the car. I would reccomend picking up a set of Koni shocks to go along with them so you dont have to worry about when the oem stuff goes.

At this point if you are going to buy the H&R springs and Koni shocks, do you think you would be better off just buying coilovers? |

Probably, especially since the install price will be the same. Some people dont want to spend the extra $300 or so for a good set of coils though.
